how to get rid of hyperpigmentation - Sephora Spring Sale what is in my cart

ajblahblahhh is legit how I feel about the Maskne and Hyperpigmentation going on, on my FACE!

I have always had acne, especially when I was in middle school and high school. Then it stopped, but ever since covid and having to wear a mask it is back and making up for lost time.

I have never really had Hyperpigmentation or scaring from zits. I think as I am getting older my skin is changing and is less able to heal properly on its own. I never really took care of m y skin or cared to spend money on skin care. As I get older and my skin is changing I understand now the importance of taking care or your skin, and how it is just a good self care practice.

If you know me you know I do not like to spend a lot of money on things. However, there are certain things that if I know they 100 percent work for me I will repurchase. I also will buy products that certain influencers recommend. These are influencers that I know I can trust and have seen it work for them. Influencers that use these products daily and rave about them.

In this post I will talk about how I get rid of hyperpigmentation and how to maintain my skin.

How to get rid of hyperpigmentation

BIO-OIL

Bio-oil is something I will use all over! I just rediscovered it and if you have preexisting, old scars, uneven skin tone it does help to reduce the appearance of it all!

I rude it into my skin throughout the day and especially at night after using my toner.

I feel like it is the most affordable, accessible option and is so universal

I would bath in it!!

RETINOL

I swear I never knew how much I needed this. The Ordinary is one of my favorite cruelty free and affordable brands, it's also amazing that these products actually work!

retinol helps with cell turnover, for healthier and softer skin. It also tackles blemishes, dark spots and signs of ageing.

How to maintain healthy skin

SUNSCREEN

Sunscreen !! everyday all day, even in the winter and especially when you have hyperpigmentation and go out into the sun. If you do not wear it and have scars, discoloration of the skin it will only make it worse.

I swear by Supergoop! I have bought it a few times. It is perfect to put your makeup over, hides those pores, smooth application! I do not like to spend a lot of money on beauty products, however this is something that is worth it!

U.F.O

This product U.F.O I have seen Delany Childs and Suzie from Hello October rave about this product in so many of their daily vlogs and skincare routines so I finally bought it. It is such a great product to maintain the overall balance of your skin. Worth splurging on and you do not need to use a lot of it.

THIS IS SEPHORAS DESCRIPTION :

"With 1.5 percent salicylic acid, this fast-acting, quick-drying, medicated oil clears acne and blackhead-causing buildup and debris from congested pores for smoother, blemish-free skin. Tea tree oil and black cumin seed oil support clear skin, while hexylresorcinol and licorice naturally brighten the appearance of old acne discolorations for a more even-toned complexion.

Counterbalancing the potentially drying effects of salicylic acid, milk thistle, and cucumber seed oil nourish the skin and smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles, without leaving a greasy residue. Chamomile and neroli soothe stressed, blemish-prone skin.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:

- Parabens

- Sulfates

- Phthalates"

LITERALLY these influencers have raved about it especially with blackheads which is something I also have a lot of especially on my nose.

I think it is important to remember especially as woman, we have hormones that effect our skin, pollution, stress, maskne etc.. I used to stress SO MUCH with every spot on my face. As I get older I am at that point of IT IS WHAT IT IS. Lets be honest we also have makeup to help hide it so now I just put some concealer on if I am that uncomfortable. With age come hormones but also you becoming more secure in your skin.

what products or things do you guys recommend for hyperpigmentation ????? leave me a comment and let me know
