Buying gifts is always a little tricky, you want to buy something the person will love, use and have for a long time. Valentine's Day is one of those holidays that people just buy the same stereotypical items: teddy bears, jewelry, flowers and chocolates. All of that is great! But why not buy something different, meaningful and purposeful?
I am always a sucker for sentimental gift, I remember every detail of a persons, their favorite things, hobbies, even from when they were a child what they enjoyed doing. By remember that I buy them things that correspond to that in which they can use now.
Say your significant other loved a certain book growing up - you can buy them the whole series.
They loved a certain hobby/ activity growing up - I look for cute places were we can share that hobby/activity.
I try to make gifts really personal and something in which me and my partner can do together. That way you also get an experience and quality time with them.
