CBD oil for anxiety, CBD oil for dogs with anxiety, CBD oil for dogs with separation anxiety, CBD gummies for sleep etc.. I have googled it all, read all the articles on Google, talked to countless people. I have even talked to countless dog owners who use CBD for their dogs and a bunch of vets - and of course my own vet.
This is going to be a lengthy post. I want to be clear with the fact that I believe there are so many proven benefits to CBD, but I strongly believe you can not solely rely on it!
For instance: If you have anxiety I would not recommend JUST taking CBD oil and expect that to solve everything. CBD should be used as a tool to help, I would along side taking CBD oil practice other things to help anxiety. Other things being - meditation, journaling, art therapy, talking to a therapist etc...
Same for dogs: I use CBD for Lola's anxiety but I also make sure she gets exercise, mental stimulation through games - My Pinterest has some ideas for games to play -Click here for dog games . I also have her in doggy daycare to help with anxiety.
Also I am not a doctor so please advise your doctor if you have any concerns, I am speaking from my experience.

My CBD Experience

From the car accident I had so much stress and anxiety. I also had this sharp pain in my neck, neck pain, headaches which was enhanced every time I became more stressed.

There was a lot going on in my life, when it rains it pours. Along with talking to my psychiatrist, journaling, going on walks, I started using CBD gummies. More so I was taking them at work, to prevent an anxiety attack because the work environment was not helping my mental health. Ever since I started this job it has not been a healthy environment. I have not had an anxiety attack in years until I started this job.
How CBD Has Helped with Pain Relief
I later discovered I had whiplash from the car accident. I did not go to the doctors for a while after the accident, which made the whiplash worse. She said to help with insomnia it is best to journal at night, so all your problems, worries are left on paper and not staying in your head. She did also say CBD helps with insomnia. I have been taking it for those nights that I have a hard time sleeping. In the beginning of the year, when I was working I did not sleep for months. Now that I am at home my sleep is so much better, I do still have nights were it is hard to fall asleep.
CBD has really helped me. CBD is great for stress, anxiety, pain and insomnia. As I have gotten out of a stressful, toxic work environment my anxiety and stress has decreased. However, now knowing that CBD works for me it is something I will be using as a tool to help in the future with all theses things I face.
CBD For Dogs
Lola has a million health problems, food allergies, environmental allergies, shes allergic to a few medications, behavior problems, she has anxiety, digestion problems etc...
She always bites her self to the point were she bleeds, peels off her paw pad and infects her foot. I have gone to so many vets, researched to see if there was an underlying problem. My vet always said it has now become an anxiety habit, something she does when she feels anxious.
Vets are not aloud to recommend CBD because there are not enough studies for it and they could get into legal trouble. However, my vet and vet tech is so cool. They have also heard so many success stories of dogs who benefit from CBD. He was on board for me trying CBD.
I also ran into a woman in her 40's who has a cockapoo, the same breed as Lola. She said her dog has really bad anxiety, separation anxiety so they use CBD oil to help their dog.

CBD for Anxiety in Dogs
Like I said Lola would bite herself so badly. There was no stopping her. I had her in a cone 24/7 to try to stop her. I hated putting the cone on her, I wanted her to live her best life.
I started giving her the CBD dog treats. I noticed such a difference and so has the people around me. The ladies at her doggy daycare notice she does not bite her self anymore, my family notices the same! Her foot started to heal because she stopped biting it.
I give her half of a treat only when I notice I can not stop her from biting herself. I also give her lots of physical exercise, doggy play dates and practice tricks with her. CBD also helps with her environmental allergies to stop her from itching the rest of her body.
I did consult with my vet to make sure her allergy medication would not be effected by CBD. I gave Lola 1/4 of a treat the first time she had CBD just to make sure she would be okay with it. I realized the perfect amount for her is half a treat, she is 20 pounds.
Conclusion
I am so happy I started using CBD. I wish I started it sooner, especially for Lola. It would of saved me so much money in medication and vet visits.
